WHAT TO EXPECT IN MY CLASS
Yoga for strength and mobility. This class blends the precise alignment of the Iyengar style with a functional approach to movement. Instead of rushing through flows, we focus on stability, deliberate positioning, and understanding the mechanics of your own body.
Lagree. Form First: I focus heavily on correct alignment so students work safely and get the most out of every move.
True Strength: We slow things down to challenge muscles, build deep core power, and reshape they body.
Serious Fun: It’s a tough workout, but the vibe is always supportive, positive, and fun!

"I have always loved to exercise, but my true fitness journey started after I had my son. I realized how much I loved staying active, and I decided I wanted to help others do the same. So, I became a Pilates instructor! One day, while I was teaching Pilates at my fitness club in Russia, I decided to try an Iyengar Yoga class. I fell in love with it instantly! Because of my Pilates background, the heavy focus on precision and alignment just made so much sense to me. I wanted to learn everything I could, so I completed a rigorous yoga teacher training program in Russia. Later, after moving to Canada, I did a second comprehensive training program at the Toronto Yoga Centre. For 11years, I dedicated myself to practicing and teaching Iyengar yoga. But through that journey, I realized something important: we also need true strength training to keep our bodies healthy and resilient as we age. To bridge that gap, I went back to school, took different courses, and became a certified canfitpro Personal Training Specialist. Recently, about a year ago, I also finished my Lagree certification because I absolutely love high-energy, low-impact group resistance training. Today, I love combining the best of both worlds in my classes—mindful alignment from yoga and serious functional power from resistance training. My goal is to help my students build a body that is beautifully aligned, strong, and full of energy!"
"I truly practice what I teach! To keep my body strong, mobile, and energized, my personal routine is a mix of three things: Kettlebell Sport (2x a week): This is my focus for heavy resistance and technical power. I love working on the snatch, clean, and jerk to build raw, functional strength. Lagree Fitness (2x a week): I get on the machine twice a week for that intense, low-impact muscle burn and deep core stability. Iyengar Yoga: This is my foundation. I use my yoga practice to restore my body, stay mobile, and bring everything back into perfect alignment. I believe in staying a dedicated student so I can bring the very best movement and energy to you in my classes!"
I might push my students to their limits in class, but my favorite way to unwind after a heavy training session is completely low-key. You can usually find me at home relaxing on the couch with a hot cup of tea and my two cats, Hiro and Ash. They are officially my favorite recovery partners!
I appreciate high-quality ingredients in my training and on my plate! If I’m treating myself, nothing beats a really good, authentic Italian pizza followed by an amazing quality cheesecake.
My favorite colors are all shades of pink and peach.
Lagree is built around small, controlled movements, pulses, and slow full-body sequences that keep your muscles under constant tension. Expect a moderate-to-high intensity workout that’s always scalable—your instructor will offer modifications so you can adjust your range of motion, springs, and pace.
Guided movement and breath, with options for every pose and intensity—so you can meet your body exactly where it is. Expect to feel more open, grounded, and steady (even if you’re brand new), and leave with calmer energy, clearer body awareness, and that “I’m glad I came” momentum.
