WHAT TO EXPECT IN MY CLASS
Expect movement with purpose. Whether you’re joining me for Mat Pilates, Hot Yoga, Coreflo, Reformer, Tower, or Stability Chair, my goal is never just to make you “feel the burn.” I want you to understand your body, connect to it, and move through life stronger and more confidently because of it.
I’m the creator of The Art of Pilates Flow Certification, and that philosophy is woven into every class I teach. My classes are dynamic, intentional, and rooted in both flow and precision. I love a pace, but never at the expense of alignment, control, or awareness. Anatomy is a big part of my teaching because I believe when students understand the “why,” they move differently and apply it beyond the studio.

Fitness kind of found me. I started training at 18. Movement became something I could always lean into during some real hard times in my life. Working out gave me an outlet. It grounded me. It helped me process. I always joke that I “work out to work shit out,” but there’s a lot of truth in that for me.
I found my way into the world of corporate fitness, personal training, spinning, Pilates, and yoga. Pilates was what I really fell in love with it!! I got certified not long after my first month. The same thing happened with yoga. I was certified through Kula, and around that same time a friend introduced me to hot yoga back when Moksha was still really new. I remember walking into those classes and feeling completely transformed by the experience. Within a year, I knew I wanted to teach and share that feeling with other people.
More than anything, movement has saved me many times throughout my life. It’s been one of the few things I could always count on to bring me back to myself. And after more than two decades of teaching, that’s still why I do what I do today."
My personal practice changes with the seasons, and I think that’s something more women need to give themselves permission to do.
I’m in my mid-fifties now, and what my body needs today is different than what it needed 10, 15 and even 2 years ago. Right now, mobility, fascia release, functional movement, agility, recovery, breathwork, and JOY are huge priorities for me. I want to feel good in my body. I want to move well, age well, and support longevity.
Right now, in this season, there's more nature, more sun, more hikes, and more weights.
I'm a lone wolf, and yet have built a beautiful life creating sisterhood and community,
Home cooked. Fresh seasonal meals. Big colourful powerbowls, fresh roasted roma tomato sauce over pasta with lots of parm, I love burgers, and the messier it is the tastier it is. I love soups, and salads. Food is definitely my love language. I love to cook, and I love people cooking for me 🙂
Every shade of green.
Mat Pilates is a low-impact, full-body class done on the floor using your own bodyweight (and sometimes small props) to build strength, stability, and mobility. It focuses on core control, posture, breath, and precise, mindful movement—helping you feel stronger, more supported, and more connected in your body, whether you’re brand new or building consistency.
Guided movement and breath, with options for every pose and intensity—so you can meet your body exactly where it is. Expect to feel more open, grounded, and steady (even if you’re brand new), and leave with calmer energy, clearer body awareness, and that “I’m glad I came” momentum.
