THE METHOD

Not Pilates.
More than Pilates.

Created by Sebastien Lagree, the Lagree method uses the patented Megaformer machine to combine strength, endurance, cardio, balance, and flexibility into a single 50-minute session. Every movement is performed at a deliberately slow tempo — typically 4 seconds in each direction — to maximize time under tension and muscle recruitment.

Unlike traditional Pilates, Lagree maintains continuous load on the muscle with zero rest between exercises. The result: metabolic conditioning, improved posture, and visible toning — without the joint stress of high-impact training.

  • Spring-loaded resistance, not weights
  • Slow tempo = deeper muscle recruitment
  • Zero impact on joints
  • Full-body engagement in every session

FAQ

Your Questions Answered

Do I need any prior experience?

No. Lagree is designed for newcomers and experienced practitioners alike regardless of your fitness background. Lagree requires learning new movement patterns — even athletes are humbled on their first session.

What should I wear?

Grip socks are mandatory and can be purchased at the studio. Wear form-fitting workout clothes — loose clothing can catch in the spring system and obscures your instructor’s view of your form.

How often should I come?

We recommend 3 sessions per week to see consistent progress. Results compound quickly with regular practice — most clients notice changes within 2 weeks.

Is it safe during pregnancy?

We offer modified classes for pre/postnatal clients. Please inform us when booking so your instructor can prepare appropriate modifications.

What is your cancellation policy?

Classes can be cancelled up to 8 hours before the session without penalty. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full class credit.
